The Co-op Store is a consumer co-operative that brings together African cooperative–manufactured and produced products and services under one unified brand, available both online and through a growing franchise network. Its purpose is to create sustainable demand for cooperative goods by building a strong distribution network that connects directly to members. Beyond simply retailing, the Co-op Store empowers members by offering consumer credit, making products more accessible, while at the same time ensuring that members have a platform to sell their own goods within the stores. This dual approach strengthens cooperative businesses, promotes self-reliance, and builds wealth within the community through collective trade.
